    The Hudson Crusaders of the tier three Minnesota Junior Hockey League have signed former Wisconsin high school stand outs and Wisco Alumni Matt Strang (Edgewood), Russell Oakes (Beloit Memorial), Tanner Tryggestad (Amery), and Eric Loasby (Appleton United). 

    “I have been impressed with Head Coach Ted Urschel’s dedication to build a program based on Wisconsin kids,” said Wisco’s Chris Walby, “Ted reached out to me this past spring and expressed interest in several Wisconsin players while scouting one of my tournament teams and it’s been a great fit since,” Walby adds. 

    “There are several kids in Wisconsin who have the desire to play post high school and are border line North American Hockey League players who need time to mature and develop.  I think specific tier three teams are great for players in this type of position and I encourage them to give tier three at least a year to help them move up in the junior ranks,” explained Walby.
