Mission: To develop Wisconsin high school hockey players through elite practices and scrimmages in order to prepare them for the 2010-2011 season.
WFHL Schedule: October 30 - 2:20 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. vs NW Blizzard
November 6 - 2 games and one on November 7. Times will be posted soon. Hotel information is here...
How to Register: Pick out a WFHL package from the list below and send a check for the appropriate amount along with the waiver. Doing this will hold your spot up until the first weekend of games (9/25/10).
* ALL SCRIMMAGES AND PRACTICES ARE AT CAP ICE IN MIDDLETON, WI.
* All scrimmages consist of 3 - 15 minute periods, with a 5 minute warm up and a resurface after the first period.
* Wisconsin high school rules will apply.
* Quality coaches and jerseys will be supplied by the league (jerseys are not included in league fees and are league property).
* Practices will consist of half skill drills, flow drills and half 3 v 3, 4 v 4 and 5 v 5 scrimmages.
* All Wisconsin high school students are eligible to play except for Middleton students.
* The following schedule is subject to change based on the number of players that sign up for the WFHL.
It's estimated the WFHL will consist of three teams (9 forwards, 6 d-men and 2 goalies per team). Players will be assigned teams after tryouts. The WFHL will do it's best to accomodate any schedule and team requests, but does not guarantee that they will be met.
WFHL Packages (Select One)
1) The "I'm All In" package: $350
Includes all seven practices and fourteen scrimmages. Also includes a 3:30 p.m. on ice shooting lesson before each practice and an off-ice work out after each practice. You want quality ice time and personal coaching this fall, this is a great deal. If you have a dream season in mind, I can get you there, if you want to work.
2) The "Give Me a Great Skate and the Games, Dude" package: $280
Includes the seven practices and the fourteen scrimmages. These skates will be intense and are perfect for someone looking to dominate in 2010-2011.
3) The "Practice... We Talking About Practice" package: $210
Includes the fourteen scrimmages only. It's the gamer package. Perfect for guys who have other commitments.
4) The "Just Practice For Me" package: $70.00 ($140 for shooting lesson, practice and off-ice session)
Includes all seven intense practices. Great coaching and an intense practice, this is a great deal for $10 a skate. If you'd like to add on the 3:30 p.m. pre-practice shooting lesson and the post practice off-ice, it's just an additional $10 a session.
